Master Your Body. Master Yourself.
Before barbells, before machines, before modern gyms, there was only the human body, gravity, and grit. Bodyweight training—what we now call calisthenics—was the original strength system of warriors, monks, wrestlers, and martial artists. Using nothing but their own frame, generations of fighters built strength, endurance, agility, and mastery of movement. It is the foundation of combat conditioning and the purest form of functional training.
From the wrestling pits of ancient India to the disciplined arenas of Sparta, bodyweight mastery has been central to martial culture. Legendary Indian wrestlers like the Great Gama relied on daily routines of Hindu squats, pushups, bridges, and gripping exercises to build unmatched functional resilience. With an undefeated record in over 5,000 matches, his life stands as living proof of the power of bodyweight conditioning. Across the world, Persian Zurkhaneh rituals, Greek gymnastic drills, and the Shaolin monks’ grueling regimes echoed the same truth: before there was iron, there was the body. And with it, limitless potential.
At its core, calisthenics is not about raw muscle—it’s about control. Every pull-up, squat, or pushup is a lesson in commanding your body through space. Unlike isolated barbell lifts, bodyweight strength training requires whole-body coordination, making it both a workout and a moving meditation. It develops balance, rhythm, timing, and precision—skills that transfer directly into martial performance.
Today, the relevance of bodyweight training is stronger than ever. In an age of expensive gyms and equipment, calisthenics offers a minimalist but powerful approach to lifelong strength. You can train anywhere: in a park, a dojo, your living room, or while traveling. With dedication, your own body becomes your gym—capable of forging resilience and adaptability from every direction. Longevity, explosive athleticism, and functional freedom flow from this practice.
Whether you’re beginning with the basics or advancing toward single-arm pull-ups, planche work, and plyometric mastery, this path meets you at your level. It adapts, evolves, and grows with you—just as it did for the wrestlers, monks, and warriors of old. This is the training that builds not just strong bodies, but disciplined minds and indomitable spirits.
At Agniyana, our warrior calisthenics blends timeless physical culture with modern methods of mobility, breathwork, and resilience training. Rooted in the traditions of Indian wrestlers and shaped by martial conditioning, it offers a way forward: not just fitness, but mastery. A system that forges strength adaptable to life’s hardest battles.
What You'll Learn
In our bodyweight training and combat conditioning curriculum, you’ll go far beyond sit-ups and pushups. This system breaks movements into progressions that scale with your ability, ensuring you’re always advancing toward mastery step by step.
Progressive Bodyweight Strength – Learn to push, pull, squat, hinge, and stabilize through carefully built sequences. From assisted pushups to pistol squats, from basic planks to advanced levers, progressions unlock new layers of strength and control at every stage.
Dynamic Movement & Flow – Martial training demands fluidity under pressure. These drills teach how to link movements into flowing chains—crawls, animal locomotion, and gymnastic transitions—building agility, rhythm, and coordination.
Loaded Bodyweight Techniques – Using tempo, isometrics, and pauses, you’ll amplify intensity without equipment. Think explosive pushups, jump squats, and static holds designed to engrain both stability and power.
Explosive Power Training – Warrior conditioning requires speed and impact. Plyometric pushups, sprint mechanics, jump drills, and fast-twitch bodyweight exercises develop martial readiness without sacrificing resilience.
Breath-Paced Reps – Strength without breath is incomplete. By syncing your bodyweight practice with breathing patterns, you not only condition your nervous system but also cultivate calm and endurance in high-pressure scenarios.
Combat Conditioning Sets – Inspired by Kung Fu, MMA, and wrestling traditions, these structured series transform bodyweight work into fighter’s training. You’ll build grip strength, spinal integrity, and the ability to generate force under fatigue—hallmarks of warrior mobility.
Calisthenics is more than a workout—it’s a system of mastery. By combining strength, resilience, balance, and adaptability, bodyweight training transforms the practitioner into both athlete and warrior. At Agniyana, your body becomes your training ground, your resistance, and ultimately, your weapon.

Credentials & Experience
My calisthenics path is rooted in both tradition and modern science. I hold multiple certifications through NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association)—including Core Conditioning Specialist, MMA Conditioning Coach, Kung Fu Fitness Instructor, Muay Thai Fitness Instructor, and Personal Fitness Trainer. These qualifications gave me the professional foundation to teach movement with safety, precision, and adaptability across all levels.
But my journey didn’t begin in a classroom—it began in the training halls of combat conditioning. From a young age, I immersed myself in Matt Furey’s Combat Conditioning, a system inspired by Hindu wrestlers, bodyweight mastery, and timeless strength-building drills. Hindu pushups, back bridges, and wrestler’s squats became my daily ritual, teaching me firsthand the power of bodyweight training to forge resilience, mobility, and functional power.
I later advanced into HardStyle Fit Courses Levels 1 & 2, rooted in Pavel Tsatsouline’s StrongFirst principles. This sharpened my approach to tension, breathing, and neural strength, blending the minimalist rigor of Russian physical culture with the combat conditioning drills I already knew.
Beyond certifications, I carry a deep background in Yoga, Qigong, and Internal Arts, which enrich my calisthenics practice with joint prep, mobility, and breathwork. These internal systems ensure that every pushup, plank, and isometric hold is not just muscular—but integrated, resilient, and sustainable.
This unique blend of warrior tradition, modern strength science, and internal alchemy allows me to teach calisthenics as more than exercise—it becomes a discipline of mastery. Every drill is backed by centuries of warrior wisdom and reinforced by cutting-edge functional movement training.
